2010 WAS A SUCCESSFUL RIDE. With only half a days rain and sustaining no injuries, the Rhode Island Contingent of the Police Unity Tour arrived at the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial on Wednesday May 12th after 4 days and 300 miles of pedaling. They were greeted by many people including the survivors of the 2009 officers that were killed in the line of duty.

The RI contingent of the Police Unity Tour would like to extend a deep thank you to all of the business and individual people who helped us support this great cause. Without your financial and material contributions or the donations of physical efforts by some, we would not have been able to honor our fallen brothers and sisters and support their survivors in the proper manner.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Crotty and Sons Autobody, Grinell Cabinets and South County Tailers who were of great assistance in short time to prepare our 20 foot support trailer for the tour. The trailer turned out to be an invaluable resource to our contingent as a foundation for our logistical needs. The trailer was, painted and lettered by Crotty and Sons Autobody making a very visual message supporting the awareness of our cause. Grinell Cabnets placed shelves, bike racks and cabinets in the trailer helping with the safe transport of our bikes and gear. South County Trailers was intricate in the mechanical preparation for our trailer's long journey.
